The apartment that we offer is located in Navona square in the heart of
Rome, just a few meters from the Pantheon and Castel S. Angelo about 20
minutes walking distance from S. Peter Basilica, Spanish steps (Piazza di Spagna),

Fountain where you can find good restaurants, pubs and famos shops (Gucci,
Prada Valentino, Armani) and everything needed to guarantee you a pleasant
stay .
Navona square occupies the place of the Stadium of Domitian, that could hold 30 000
spectators. Here are three magnificent fountains the one in the centre is the
famous fountain of Rivers by Bernini who made a fanciful pedestal for the Egyptian
obelisk that used to stand in the Circus of Maxentius.
The Church of S. Agnese in Agone, is built on the spot where, according to tradition
the virgin denuded before her martyrdom, was mantled in her hair, which had grown
miraculously to cover her. It is a magnificent Baroque building designed by G.
Rainaldi and Borromini. Underneath it there are some remains of the original church
and of the Circus of Domitian. In the vicinity is the church of St. Mary of Peace,
where over the arch of the first chapel to the right we see the celebrated group of
the Sibyls by Raphael. The fine portico of the facade is by Pietro Da Cortona. The
cloister is by Bramante.
